24/7 Club contact
As emergency contact is essential for our Members, both in and out of office hours, the Club maintains a robust communications system. Recently, this has been put to the test in a number of locations by interruptions to third party networks or national telecommunications utilities. The combination of email, land line and mobile cellular phone systems has ensured that Members have been able to remain in touch with us despite these interruptions.
In the event that such an interruption takes place, this website home page will carry an emergency bulletin describing the problem, the recommended alternate means of communicating and, if possible, an indication of when normal service will resume.
The range of alternate communications routes to relevant Club managers or staff can be easily found via this website.
Emergency & Out of Hours contacts can be accessed from any page of the Club website by simply clicking on the link at the head of the page. This provides a listing of all the duty executives and their out of hours as well as office numbers. This listing is posted on the website every Thursday afternoon and a link circulated that evening via the Latest Update email to all Members and brokers registered with the Members Area online services.
The Making Contact section of the website provides a quick and easy route to identifying any of the staff in the Club’s international office network and includes a profile of their role and expertise within the Club.
However, in addition a number of downloadable guides to the London syndicates and regional offices are being published in the Publications section of the website. These documents are regularly refreshed with any changes to staffing arrangements or contact details and are a useful note to print off and keep in one’s briefcase or desk.
These ‘pdf’ documents can also be circulated among Members’ colleagues to ensure contact details are at hand.
A complete directory of out of office numbers can also be found in the front section of the Club’s Rules & Bye-Laws and can also be printed off as a separate pdf.
