New resource page for Gulf of Mexico



deepwater A dedicated resources page is now available on our website to collate the various advisories and updates on the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico. A link to this page can be found here.

The two most recent items on that site are an executive summary from the US Coast Guard on the position of various ports in the region, advisory bulletins from local oil spill response contractor Gallagher Marine Systems and advice received from law firm Reed Smith and the International Group on the claims process and the protocol for decontamination of ships in the area.

Other resources on this page are links to the websites of the Unified Command leading the response to this incident, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and US Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security.

We recommend that Members check this site from time to time for further updates and bulletins. These latest announcements from the Club will be included in the Latest Updates email sent to all Members who have registered to use the Members Area of our website.
