2012 Renewal documentation now being issued

  • Date: 18/01/2012

The Club is now issuing 2012 Certificates of Entry for agreed renewals, as well as confirmations required for Bunker Convention and CLC Blue Cards.

The Club produces Members’ electronic cover documentation (PDF ) quickly but in some situations ships or flag states may require physical copies of documents.  Members should be aware that authorities in some jurisdictions such as Japan and California, might wish to see a Certificate of Entry before the ship enters their waters for a call spanning 20th February 2012, even if it is arriving before that date. They should consult their port agents for advice.

Many Members and brokers aim to complete renewals well in advance of 20th February so that their documentation can be produced early to avoid vessel delays.

Use of Club “On-line Services” for rapid documentation

Members’ PDF documentation for renewed entries is available via the Members’ Area of our website.   Certificates of Entry, debit notes, Blue Cards, renewal confirmations and COFR documentation can be downloaded the instant it is produced by the Club.

All renewing Members receive an email that their documentation has been prepared with a link to the Underwriting On-line section within the Members Area of our website, as well as receiving PDF copies of the documents.

If in doubt, please call your usual Underwriting Department contact.
