1085 - 03/16 - Update, Panama Canal Draft Restrictions - Panama
- Date: 04/03/2016
Further to our Bulletin 1082 the Panama Canal Authority has published the attached circular.
Current Canal transit delays are experiencing three to four days waiting time for non-booked Atlantic arrivals and four to five days for Pacific arrivals. The predicted continued lack of rainfall means that the Canal Authority have to take “water conservation” measures which include slower speeds through certain sections of the canal, especially where there are ongoing dredging operations.
