894 - 06/13 - Union action on ITF Certificates Update - Argentina
Following the previous Bulletin (893), further information has been advised by the Club’s correspondent in Argentina, with restrictions extending to other Argentinian ports.
The Maritime Workers Union (SOMU) has stated that their restriction on the provision of tugs will extend to the port of Buenos Aires, in addition to the ports mentioned in the previous Bulletin.
This is an issue affecting ship-owners who are not a party to ITF contracts whether special, collective or individual.
