Escalating instability in Yemen – 17th February 2014
- Date: 17/02/2015
Due to the escalating instability in Yemen and increasing unrest in the region, many countries have begun to withdraw diplomats and personnel from the Yemeni capital city of Sanaa. The situation appears to be rapidly deteriorating and although ports and terminals are still operating as normal, the Club’s local correspondent has advised that their movement around the city is limited and may be restricted in their ability to assist. The Club will continue to monitor the situation closely and will report any significant changes in the current situation.
Thank you to the Club’s correspondent in Yemen – GAC Yemen for the update.
