Greece Insight course 2011 (Editorial: 16th June)
Following the continuing success of its main Insight Course in London, a second course is to be held this year at the Athens Hilton Hotel on the 6th to the 7th December.
“An insight into transport law and insurance” is a practical, extensive two-day course for the non-insurance specialist. It is aimed at executives and managerial staff who are in the early stages of their careers and those who do not have specialist insurance and claims experience. It has also proved useful to more experienced shipping executives who wish to broaden or refresh their knowledge.
Places on the course are limited and priority in applications will be given to Club Members.
The two-day course will opens with a maritime and transport industry insurance overview and then refines its focus on to individual areas of cover such as hull, P&Im FD&D and war risks. Practical issues in cargo and personal injury claims as well as dealing with collisions, pollution and dock damage will be addressed.
The course is structured to cover these topics through a mixture of group work, presentations and case studies. Supporting course documentation is supplied electronically as an aid to subsequent reference and use in day to day work.
In addition to the study benefits of the course it presents and excellent opportunity to mix with others working primarily in the Greek marine and transport community.
The course brochure gives full information on the course and includes an easy to complete applications form. Alternatively to find out more about the course and to reserve a place contact Jenny Whitehead (email: email@example.com) or call +44 20 7204 2053.
