Karl Lumbers' retirement party -2nd July 2015
- Date: 10/07/2015
After 29 years working at Thomas Miller, Trinity House hosted Karl Lumber’s retirement party on Thursday 2nd July. Karl started at the Club in 1986, following a 13 year career at sea and a spell ashore as a marine consultant. Karl began working in one of the claims syndicates and moved to take over the loss prevention role in 1992, adding ship inspections to his responsibilities in 1998.
The great and the good arrived for Karl’s send off, and with so many people in attendance the only thing to have wished for on the evening was slightly stronger air conditioning!
We wish Karl good luck in his retirement although we will be seeing him around the office as he plans to spend part of his retirement on a new analysis of major claims for the Club.
