2013 additions to our worldwide expertise

The Club is pleased to welcome several new members of staff to our worldwide network. They will be adding their experience and expertise to the teams helping to service the membership.

Michael Crowley

Mike joined TMA in April 2013 after 30 years with a leading maritime law firm in New York City. He has practical experience as a licensed officer on board US-flag merchant vessels and handles P&I and Defence claims.

Dewarren Watkins

DeWarren joined TMA in April 2013. He has prior experience working for a global container shipping company as a claims manager.


Beijing Office

James Zhang

A graduate in English and International Relations, James initial career was with a major Chinese shipowner serving in both China and the UK. Having acquired an MBA at Cranfield he was head of strategic planning before joining the Hong Kong office of a European container operator as business development director. Joining in 2012 from an investment group, James brings more than 20 years shipping experience to the team.

Luke trained as a barrister and in 2013 he joined Thomas Miller, after working for a number of finance and shipping companies based in Singapore and South East Asia.

Michael Greenwood
Senior Claims Executive

Michael is a qualified solicitor, specialising in shipping law. Michael trained at a major international law firm where he enjoyed a secondment to its Athens office. Following qualification Michael spent 3.5 years at a well regarded shipping law practice in London before joining Thomas Miller in 2013

William joined Thomas Miller in December 2012 as Trainee Underwriter. William is supporting the Club's Members in Asia Pacific.
