New Circular confirms Rules for 2011 (Editorial 20/01/11)

The Club’s Special General Meeting in Bermuda on the 20th January in Bermuda has approved the proposed amendments to the Rules set out in earlier Circular 25/10.   The meeting is reported in Circular 27/10 together with the revised rules and can be found in the Circulars section of this website. 

Circular 26/10 was also issued this week to update Members regarding progress with Chinese oil pollution regulations.

Members’ insurance documentation for both P&I and UK Defence Club renewed entries has been completed and is available via the Member's Area of this website.  In addition to the latest Certificate of Entry, Members can download the corresponding debit notes, blue cards, renewal confirmations and COFR documentation.

The completed new 2011 Rule Books will be published on the website later this month incorporating the updated List of Correspondents and directory for the Club’s international network of dedicated offices.

The Special General Meeting also resolved that with immediate effect, Messrs Moore Stephens LLP, London, be and are hereby appointed as auditors of the Association in place of Messrs Moore Stephens & Butterfield of Hamilton, Bermuda.
