US Treasury resource centre for sanctions against Iran: this website maintains variety of resources including the original texts of presidential executive orders, statutes, regulations and guidance notes in relation to US sanctions against Iran.
US sanctions measures Members should be aware that US sanctions regime against Iran continues to develop. Although some relaxation has been observed with effect from 20th January, the sanctions contained in the "Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act of 2012" ("IFCA"), which forms a part of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 ("NDAA 2013") continue to target the following:-
- Transactions with Iran's energy, shipping and shipbuilding sectors, and with Iran's ports
- Transactions relating to Iran's automotive industry
- Transactions with entities on the Specially Designated Nationals ("SDN") List
- Transactions Involving precious metals and raw materials
- Insurance, reinsurance & underwriting activities
The Club, together with the International Group, is keeping the situation under review and will publish any advices or other knowledge in this section of the website. The following list is provided in date order rather than as any priority or importance of the material.
