Nigel Carden

Career Summary
Nigel joined Thomas Miller in 1981 and was involved in claims handling for members from Japan, Greece and the Middle East. He later took on responsibility for the UK Club's Rules and Bye-Laws, environmental liability, claims policy and loss prevention.
Nigel has served on many of the International Group's sub-committees and working groups and is currently chairman the IG's Ships' Standard and Maritime Security sub-committees and the LNG working group.
Nigel is a director of ITOPF and a trustee of its pension scheme. He became Deputy Chairman of Thomas Miller P&I Ltd. in September 2004 and maintains responsibility for the UK Club's business in Japan and the Middle East.
