The UK P&I Club does not offer an FD&D class of cover, but dedicated cover for those risks is available from the UK Defence Club.

The UK Defence Club is the largest freight, demurrage & defence mutual in the world with over 3,000 owned and time chartered ships entered.   The Directors of the UKDC are leading figures in the maritime industry and are committed to providing a financially strong, Member focused organisation whilst maintaining traditional values.

Membership is drawn from a broad cross section of countries including Europe, the Americas, the Far East and China. It includes both owner and ship operator entries representing the vast majority of ocean going ship types.
