UK Club Holds 'Getting to Grips with the Human Factor' Workshop in Rio

On 9th November, the UK Club held a workshop on Oil Pollution Developments and the Club's Human Element programme in Rio for Club Members Petrobras/Transpetro.

The UK Club's Director, Agenor Cesar Junqueira Leite and about 70 staff attended. Capt Karl Lumbers, the Club's Loss Prevention director, led the Human Element workshop which discussed HSE and management systems, safety culture, the measurement of performance, accidents, human error, the assessment and management of risk, emergency response and 'the edge'. The Club's DVD No Room For Error was shown.

Lance Hebert gave a presentation on recent Oil Pollution Developments.
