Director General of Shipping, India Discussion on Criminalisation

 



On 13th December 2005, the Director-General of Shipping, India held a discussion on criminalisation in shipping in the auditorium of the Shipping Corporation of India.

Capt Hazari of SCI introduced Herry Lawford who gave a lecture on 'Recent Trends in the Criminalisation of Shipping Accidents and Incidents'. The discussion was attended by 100 representatives of the maritime industry including the Director General of Shipping, GS Sahni, the Nautical Adviser to the Government, Capt MM Saggi, S Venkiteswaran, Senior Advocate, shipowners, managers, representatives of the Company of Master Mariners, training establishments and lawyers.
