UK Club Discusses Launch of Dangerous Goods Guides

The UK Club has been working on a project to provide straightforward guidance to Members - and all those in the transport chain - on the ways to avoid risk in the shipment and carriage of dangerous goods.

The Club's principal consultant is Dick Masters, who has written a series of guides which the Club will shortly publish. The project will include access to Exis Technologies online ' Hazcheck' service for checking the correct designation and handling of IMDG cargoes. The Club's loss prevention team, Karl Lumbers and Colin Legget (with Herry Lawford) met Dick Masters and Ken Burgess to discuss the launch of the project, which will be fully described on loss prevention pages of the Club's website over the coming weeks.
