UK Club co-hosts Dangerous Goods seminar in Hamburg

On 27th April 2006, the UK Club and the Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI) co-hosted a seminar on the safe stowage, carriage and packing of dangerous goods in containers. The one-day seminar was held in Hamburg at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski and was attended by representatives of ship operators, container freight stations, freight forwarders and others.
Speakers at the event were Karl Lumbers (UK Club Loss Prevention director), Dick Masters (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor), Ken Burgess (Exis Technologies), Dirk Vande Velde (MSC Shipping Line) and Martin Whittle (Chemical Distribution Institute).
