UK Club attends Black Sea Oil Spill Claims workshop

 




In July Dr Chao Wu participated in two workshops in Istanbul on oil spill incidents in the Black Sea Region. The workshops were organised by OSPRI in conjunction with the Black Sea Commission and represent part of an on-going programme of efforts to improve oil spill preparedness in the region. The workshops were well received by industries and Black Sea Countries' governmental representatives. Presentations were delivered by the UK P&I Club, ITOPF and the IOPC Funds covering the international regimes for pollution, handling of pollution claims, and types and consequences of pollution claims.
