Ningbo Judges Visit London

The UK Club assisted eight judges of the Ningbo Maritime Court on a two week visit to London between 2nd and 15th March 2003. This follows the successful visit in May 2001 of an earlier group of judges. This group, after spending two weeks at the Institute of Maritime Law, Southampton, met and discussed international legal issues with clubs, judges, law firms, arbitrators, insurers and the representatives of international bodies. Among those met were Patrick Griggs , the President of the CMI, Clive Aston of the the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, Sir David Steel, the Admiralty Judge and Ms. Olga Bósquez, Senior Deputy Director and Head of External Relations Office, IMO.
