Korean language translations

From this week our website is including a specialist page for Korean translations of selected Club publications.

Our Club enjoys the support of a substantial South Korean membership. Seventeen Korean Members' entries provide a total of 5.5 million gross tons of shipping. This entered fleet of over 120 ships is drawn from all the main trade sectors of international merchant shipping.

Korean interests are represented on the Club Board by Director Mr J. B. Lee of Korea Line Corporation in Seoul.

This website also provides Japanese and Chinese language translations of its documents online. The Chinese publications page collates Chinese language translations into both traditional and simplified Chinese characters in one easy area of reference.

For our Japanese Members and industry partners a dedicated Japanese language Club website www.ukpandi.jp provides a similar focal point for Club documents translated into Japanese characters e.g. the Japanese version of the current Club Rules.

An explanatory note that demonstrates the need for regular review of Members' crew contracts is the other addition to our Club's roster of publications this week. This note can be found in the Publications section of this website within the Other Publications subsection. Alternatively, the Latest Updates page provides a direct link to the document.

As always we greatly appreciate your feedback on the content provided via the Club website. If you should experience any technical or other problems viewing or downloading these documents please let us know. Please forward your comments by e-mail to Jenny Whitehead (jenny.whitehead @thomasmiller.com)
