2008 Renewal - New documentation without delay
Members and brokers who are registered with the Club's Members Area are able to access their policy documentation the instant it is produced by the Club. Underwriting Online, a section of the Club's Members area, enables Members to view the policy documentation for an entered ship. As it is in the globally recognised PDF format, it can be printed or saved to the Member's own system.
The documentation is generated for both P&I and UK Defence Club entries. In addition to the latest Certificate of Entry, Members can download the corresponding debit notes, blue cards, renewal confirmations and COFR documentation.
The system is easy to use and flexible. Members can choose to create an electronic version of a single document or a package of relevant documents.
Once in the Members Area, simply select Underwriting Online from the "Your policy" drop down menu. Selecting Policy Documentation from the menu of options within Underwriting Online provides a simple online query form within which the Member selects the entered ship and the relevant cover, e.g. P&I. The form then provides a list of current and past documentation. Simply tick the box for the documents you require and click on "Create PDF" to generate the electronic documentation.
The required documents are generated as pages within a single PDF document which can then be printed locally, or saved to disk.
Renewing Members will receive an email notification from the Underwriting department that documentation has been prepared which will include a direct link to the Underwriting Online facility on our website.
Any Member who has yet to use the system can register, and will be able to create electronic copies as soon as the registration has been verified for security. This process usually takes no more than 24 hours. Members who have any queries regarding documentation should call their usual contact in the Underwriting department. In the event of any difficulty accessing UK Club Online Services please contact either Jenny Whitehead or Nick Whitear in the London office.
