Documents on demand


All our Members' documentation is available for their reference at any time - day or night - through the Underwriting Online service.

Underwriting Online is a section of the Club's Members' Area that enables Members and their brokers to view the policy documentation for an entered ship.

In addition to the latest Certificate of Entry, Members can download the corresponding debit notes, blue cards, renewal confirmations and COFR documentation for any of their entered ships.

Documents for the Club's additional covers such as Damage to Hull and Charterers P&I are also included in this online system.

The system is easy to use and flexible. Members can choose to create an electronic version of a single document or a package of relevant documents. These documents can be generated for both the current and 2007 policy year for P&I and UK Defence club entries. Policy documentation is presented in the globally recognised Adobe PDF format.

Access to this documentation is made available to Members and brokers who are registered with the Club's Members' Area.
  • Once in the Members' Area simply select Underwriting Online from the Your policy drop down menu.
  • Select Policy Documentation from the menu of options that appears
  • A simple online query form appears where you select the entered ship and the relevant area of cover, e.g. P&I.
  • Simply tick the documents you require from the displayed list of current and past documentation.
  • Click Create PDF to generate the document.
The required documents can then be printed locally, or saved to disk.

Any Member who has yet to register with the Members Area can do so here. It is a quick process usually taking no more than 24 to 48 hours. Members who have any queries regarding documentation should contact Duncan Miller in the Underwriting department.
