New Regional & Area Directors for Europe and Greece


We are pleased to announce that Rod Lingard will take up the post of Area Director in the Thomas Miller Hellas office in Piraeus at the end of October 2008.

Philip Clacy who has undertaken this role for the past six years will be returning to London in November as the Regional Director for the London based claims handling Area Groups.

Martyn Haines will take over Rod's responsibilities as Area Director for Area Groups L1 and L4 in London and also continue as one of the team of Senior Claims Directors. Martyn has just returned to London from the Thomas Miller New Jersey office.

Through these latest appointments the Club intends to maintain and develop the level and quality of service to Members. This continuing initiative is set out in a service leaflet published in the Publications section of this website entitled Service Commitment.

The commitment has been put together based on feedback received from Members on what they believe is important in their dealings with their Club. It sets out what Members can expect from the Club, both in terms of their dealings generally and on underwriting, claims and loss prevention matters specifically.

Its fifteen individual commitments range from reimbursing claims within ten days of authorisation to assisting our Members in understanding and managing the risks generating claims on their record.

The contact details, responsibilities and recent biography of every executive for all of the Thomas Miller offices is published there.
