Latest Bodily Injury News published

dohsThe latest edition of Bodily Injury News is published on behalf of the Club this week by Thomas Miller Americas.

It contains articles on improved defences in longshoreman injury and death cases, medical maintenance and care, the application of the Death on the High Seas Act and comparative fault as a defence in maritime law. They were drafted respectively by TMA’s Karen Hildebrandt, Jana Bryon and Louise Livingston who, together with colleague Dee O’Leary comprise the bodily injury team based at TMA’s New Jersey and San Francisco offices.

The TMA Bodily Injury Team are a specialist group of executives from both the New Jersey and San Francisco offices empowered with a significant settlement authority to deal with these demanding cases on our Members’ behalf. More than half of the Club's personal injury claims over $100,000 are brought in the American courts.

Under the leadership of Louise Livingston they apply collective team expertise and experience to a variety of bodily injury matters. This team are all former practising attorneys in both Federal and State Court. The team attend settlement conferences and mediations on behalf of Members.

The Bodily Injury News is just one of the methods by which they share their expertise and experience with Members. They also participate in Member workshops covering a variety of personal injury issues. The last New Jersey based seminar was reported in a previous website editorial.

The Club is currently revising the layout of all its regular publications as part of an effort to constantly improve the quality and accessibility of its information to Members.

Further new publications will be appearing in the next month, both in hard copy and in PDF format on this website. The arrival of new publications is always highlighted in the Latest Updates section of this website.
