| | James Baker (JAB) James is a master mariner with experience in liner operations, bulk carriers, container ships and ro-ro vessels. He spent some time managing a surveying company in Japan, after which he joined Millers in 1984. James has specialised experience of dealing with major oil pollution claims. He recently qualified as a mediator and is closely involved with members in Russia, the Ukraine and most recently Japan. |

| | Michael Bowen (MCB) Michael is a Master Mariner and was at sea for 22 years during which he commanded oil and chemical tankers. He came to Millers in 1990 as a Ship Inspector and joined the area groups in 1993. |

| | Tony Fielder (ARF) Tony joined Millers in 1990 from solicitors Elborne Mitchell where he spent fifteen years involved in ship finance, charterparty and sale and purchase disputes. He has also worked for shipbrokers in London and Tokyo and has also specialised in casualty investigations. He is now the resident specialist at Thomas Miller (Hellas) Ltd. |

| | Ernie Foster (EAF) Ernie joined the Sunderland Club and thereafter Millers in 1972. Throughout that time he has specialised in personal injury cases. Ernie is a Director of Thomas Miller P&I. |

| | Lance Hebert (LAH) Lance joined Millers in 1977 and was a senior claims handler dealing with the Club's Members based in Greece, Germany and South America. Lance was the manager of the Club's Miami office for several years and specialised in pollution matters and the support of Members in South America. Lance is now a senior claims director based in L2/L6. Lance speaks Portugese and some Spanish. |

| | Alan Hedgeland (AFH) A master mariner with twenty years sea-going experience, Alan has sailed on tankers, ro-ros and container ships. He has a postgraduate degree in ocean resource management and joined Millers in 1986. He has particular expertise in oil pollution and tanker claims and has recently been concerned with members based in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and the Middle East. He now brings his P&I experience to the Japanese market. |

| | Tony Kennedy (AJK) Tony is a master mariner with 24 years experience in the shipping industry both at sea and in ship management. He joined Millers in 1986 and was formerly manager of Syndicate B2 and was L2 Area Director. He has particular experience of cargoes and commodities. |

| | Bill Kirrane (WK) Bill joined Millers in 1995. A master mariner with a law and a maritime studies degree, he spent 15 years at sea serving on bulk carriers, container ships, car carriers and tankers. He also worked ashore for 5 years with a Cyprus based shipowner. Bill handles a wide variety of P&I and FD&D claims. |

| | Rod Lingard (RXL) Rod, a master mariner with degrees in nautical studies, law and an MBA, joined the Sunderland P&I Club in 1987. Rod was formerly manager of the Sunderland office and moved to London in 1998. He has particular experience in cargo and collision claims. More recently Rod has been heavily involved in the Club's Value for Money project and in overseeing claims for the Club's Italian Members. |

| | John Turner (JCT) John worked for a ship agent, a shipowner and as Club correspondent in Ireland before joining Millers in 1987. He is a personal injury specialist and managed Area Group L5 from 1997 to 2001. He currently leads the Cruise & Ferry Team. |

| | Martin Turner (MRT) Martin joined Millers in 1993 having been a claims executive with another P&I club in London for nine years. He has a degree in Maritime Geography. Martin's responsibilities include co-ordinating the Club's response to occupational disease claims. |
