Les joined Thomas Miller in February 2001 from the P&O group where he was a marine superintendent. Prior to that he was master for 12 years, and has extensive experience in a wide range of ships including reefers, general cargo, chemical, LPG tankers, OBOs, dry bulk carriers and container ships. As a marine lead auditor he was part of a team responsible for introducing audit and safety training across the P&O Bulk fleet. He is a Fellow of the Nautical Institute and contributed to their publications Bulk Carrier Practice and Watchkeeping in Port. |
