Christopher has degrees in economics and law and practised commercial law in the US. He joined Millers in 2001 from another P&I Club where he was head of claims, dealing with P&I and Hull matters. Christopher speaks Norwegian. |

| | Nigel Brooks (NIB)
Nigel joined Millers in 1981 as a claims executive having qualified as a barrister. He joined the Underwriting Department in January 1991 and is the senior underwriter for Greece and South America. |

After studying law Nigel joined Millers in 1978 and worked for five years on people claims. He manages the Underwriting Department while also being the senior underwriter for Japan, Germany, France, Middle East and South Africa. |

| | Karl Lumbers (KSL)
Karl is a master mariner with some thirty years experience in the marine industry who joined Millers in 1986 from a leading firm of marine consultants in London. He is responsible for monitoring the quality of surveyors and consultants used by the Club, analysis of the Club's major claims, and the production of videos and other loss prevention materials. |

A solicitor who joined Millers in 1992, John's background is in P&I and Defence claims management. He is the manager of the Secretariat. |

| | Julian South (JRS)
Julian joined Millers in 1971 and the Underwriting Department in 1976. He is a senior underwriter, with area responsibilities for North America and Europe. He also has responsibility for sales and marketing. |

| | Nick Whitear (NJW)
Nick originally joined Millers in 1987 as an underwriter for the TT Club. After three years with the Club's Singapore correspondent, Nick joined the P&I Underwriting Department. His marketing role includes responsibility for press and public relations, including UK Club News and other publications. |
