Other Services - PEME

The Club's Pre-employment Medical Examination Programme for ships' crews is designed to reduce costly illness repatriation claims. The aim of the programme is to prevent seafarers who are already sick from joining Members' ships.

 Sophia Grant (SLG)
Sophia joined Millers in 1992 and from 1994 worked as a claims handler dealing mainly with French and Spanish members. Sophia has assisted with the distribution of the OASIS claims handling system and was most recently the manager of the Europe Region Service Team (ERST).

 Stuart Last (SL)
Stuart joined Thomas Miller in 1998 as a claims trainee for UK P&I Club’s Greek Members. In April 2005 Stuart joined PEME as the Team Administrator.

 Saidul Alom (SA)
Saidul Alom recently joined PEME from the European Region Service Team where he spent two years working in the Fee Processing section. Saidul provides administrative support to the PEME programme and is responsible for ensuring prompt payment of clinic fees.
