The Republic of the Marshall Islands ship registry is issuing Bunkers Convention certificates verifying insurance cover with effect from 1st August 2008.

Certification Procedure

Certification procedure is explained in the Marshall Islands’ Marine Notice No. 2-011-27 attached here in pdf format. This Marine Notice includes a specimen copy of the Certificate.

Miscellaneous

No announcement has been made to date regarding the issuance of certification for ships registered with a Flag State not party to the Bunkers Convention.
