David is a Senior Claims Executive who works within the Charterers team.

He joined Thomas Miller in 2021, after spending his career working for another IG Club and in boutique shipping law firms, where he had a practice focused on advising blue-chip charterers and trading houses. David is an experienced Solicitor who assists Members with all aspects of their claims, with a particular focus on resolving FD&D disputes. 

Prior to commencing his legal career, he worked in his family's business for a number of years, which instilled a strong commercial perspective. 

David is also a graduate of Cambridge University, where he studied English literature.
