Christopher is the CEO of the Club's European subsidiary UKNV and resident in The Netherlands. 

He has previously headed the Club's claims function and for 12 years was the Club's Chief Underwriting Officer overseeing underwriting policies and operations. 

Christopher joined Thomas Miller in 2001, and has worked with P&I since 1989. From 2002-2007, he was based in Hong Kong to head the Managers' operations in Asia-Pacific, working closely with Members in the region. From 2007-2022 Christopher was based in the London office. He previously lived in Hong Kong for 7 years and in Norway for 11 years, and speaks Danish and Norwegian. 

He has experience of overseeing major casualties, including pollution incidents, collisions and wreck removals. He also has commercial law private practice experience. 

Christopher is a member of the International Group Reinsurance Sub-Committee and Data & Analytics Committee, and is a regular speaker at internal and external market functions. 

He has a degree in Economics from Tulane University, a Juris Doctor in law from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he was a senior editor of the law review, and holds a degree from the University of Oslo, Nordisk Institute of Maritime Law.
