Mike joined Thomas Miller in March 1980 with an Honours degree in Law. Prior to joining Thomas Miller Mike had worked in Hambros Bank and on the staff of the Law Courts in South London.
Mike worked in the London office claims syndicate dealing with the P&I and Defence members in Scandinavia,Switzerland, North and South America and managed that syndicate from 1986-1992. In February 1993 Mike moved to the Thomas Miller office in New York City at an early phase of the Thomas Miller policy of regionalisation of the Clubs claims service. Mike was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Thomas Miller (Americas ) Inc in August 2001.
Leanne joined TMA in November 2019 as Regional Director having spent 10 years at another International Group P&I Club in London and New York. Leanne worked as a solicitor in Dublin, Ireland and is also legally qualified in England and New York. Leanne speaks French and conversational Spanish.
Marina is an attorney and a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. She has a US CG licence as a Third Mate . She worked for a Shipowner in operations on tankers / bulkers and has also worked for ABS . She was in the Coast Guard reserve as a marine inspector.
Dee practiced law in New York City for 17 years with a well-known maritime law firm focusing on general cargo and bodily injury claims. She joined TMA in December 2007 as a generalist, with a focus on bodily injury claims.
She is a member of the Bodily Injury Team.
Tom joined TMA in September 2019 after 28 years with leading US law firms specializing in maritime matters. He is a graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy and holds a US Coast Guard license as a Third Engineer. Tom built, tested, and sailed aboard US Navy Submarines as a maritime and nuclear engineer. Tom handles P&I and Defence claims.
