Philippa joined Thomas Miller in 2014. She previously practised as a solicitor for 8 years at an international shipping law firm based in London. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she studied Mandarin at undergraduate degree level and she has also spent 3 years working as a solicitor in Shanghai.
Susan Lee is a Claims Executive for P&I and FD&D. Susan is an attorney and came to TMA from a New York maritime law firm. She handles cargo claims, arbitrations and charter party disputes.
Amy Lovseth joined Thomas Miller (Americas) as a claims executive in June 2004 after completing a LL.M. in Maritime Law from the University of Oslo in Norway. While in Norway, Amy worked as a trainee at Wiikborg Rein and in the law department at Norsk Hydro.
Amy was made Vice president in 2010 and handles claims for both the UK P&I Club and the UK Defence Club. She joined LS2 from New Jersey and has recently reloacted to our Hong Kong office.
Felix spent ten years handling claims for shipowners, a charterer and a freight forwarder in Hong Kong before joining Thomas Miller. He holds a degree and a diploma in transport management, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport.
Jeff joined Thomas Miller in 2011 having spent 11 years working as a solicitor with a major London maritime law firm. As well as being a qualified solicitor, Jeff is a Master Mariner with 18 years seagoing experience on a wide range of ship types, predominantly oil and petrochemical tankers. He became a Senior Claims Director in January 2013 and was appointed Global Technical Claims Director in 2017.
Jeff represents the UK Club on International Group (IG) sub-committees for Salvage & Wreck Removal and Pilotage.
After graduating in shipping technology from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Kelvin worked for a firm of average adjusters and P&I correspondents before joining Thomas Miller in 2005. He holds a LLB and handles P&I and Defence claims. Kelvin speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
Stuart joined Thomas Miller in 1998 as a claims trainee for UK P&I Club’s Greek Members. In April 2005 Stuart joined PEME as the Team Administrator. Stuart is responsible for co-ordination of Member entries and administration for the clinic approval process.
Wai Pong Lee is a qualified Master Mariner, a retired Commanding Officer (Reservist) from the Republic of Singapore Navy, and accredited Associate Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Most recently, Wai Pong was the Executive Director of the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA). During his seafaring career, Mr Lee sailed on a wide range of ships. Prior to joining SCMA, he worked for a prominent international ship-owner based in Singapore and headed up the commercial management of its handy sized fleet of dry bulk carriers.
