China has ratified the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks 2007 and the Convention will enter into force in China from 11 February 2017.  The Chinese MSA published a notice on the application procedure for WRC Certificates.

Chinese flagged ships over 300 gross tonnages will need to apply for the WRC Certificates. Applications should be made to a directly affiliated MSA office which administrates the ship’s port of registry.

The Notice issued by the MSA and a sample copy of the WRC Certificate are both attached in the above PDF for Members’ reference.
