The International Hydrographic Organization has issued a bulletin on ECDIS Performance Checks

The checks are designed to make mariners aware of any deficiencies with their system. Through feedback to the IHO it is also intended to build up a database of how different types of ECDIS display and handle data; this will in turn be passed to national hydrographic offices and the IMO.
