5月3日金曜日、UKクラブのロス・プリベンション部門は、シンガポールのコンラッドホテルにて第3回ロス・プリベンション・セミナーを開催しました。

The Club's Loss Prevention department hosted its 3rd annual LP seminar at the Conrad Hotel, Singapore, on Friday 3rd May.

Andrew Jones CEO of Thomas Miller (Asia Pacific) opened the event, which included a range of technical presentations from Director of Loss Prevention Stuart Edmonston, Senior LP Executive Captain Anuj Velankar, Claims and Loss Prevention Executive Sean Song (Hong Kong) and Risk Assessor C/E Ansuman Ghosh.

Stuart gave a general update on LP initiatives, the "Lessons Learnt" project and Reflective Learning training videos. Anuj, Sean, and Ansuman gave interactive presentations on Sulphur 2020, Fish Farms (offshore China) and Diving Operations (including an update on Biofouling regulations).

Over 100 delegates attended the event from across the shipping community, Members, shipmanagers and brokers.

The presentations were followed by a lengthy and enthusiastic Q&A with the delegates, followed by an even lengthier and more enthusiastic cocktail party!
