Polar Shipping Update：カナダが極海コードを採用
＜要旨＞
カナダは昨年末、極海コードを導入し、北極船舶安全汚染防止規則として適用され、2001年カナダ海運法及び北極海域汚染防止法を改正したことをお知らせします。この規則は現在カナダで施行されています。下記リンクより カナダ公報をご覧ください。
We are pleased to report that Canada has at the end of last year adopted the Polar Code, annexing the same by way of
'The Arctic Shipping Safety and Pollution Prevention Regulations', to its 'CANADA SHIPPING ACT' 2001', 'ARCTIC WATERS POLLUTION PREVENTION ACT'.
The Regulations are now in force in Canada. Please find attached a link to the same published in the
Canada Gazette.
