Correspondents O.F. Gollcher & Sons Ltd has provided the following update regarding measures adopted by the main Black Sea ports against COVID-19.

Novorossiysk is the first among four major Black Sea ports to implement new strict control measures in line with a Notice issued by the Sanitary authorities to Harbour Master on 10 March 2020 (attached with English translation), with Tuapse and other ports to follow the same strategy.

This Notice is being considered by the Harbour Master, his own requirements are likely to be published soon.

Additional information:
• Sanitary authorities will be requesting to provide a list of ports where the crew changes took place in the last 30 days.
• Passes for the staff of the authorized disinfection company are not ready, and vessels arriving on 11-14 March may avoid new enhanced measures.
