Force Majeures have been declared for coal stocks exported through Daltymple Bay and Gladstone, due to the effect of heavy rain in recent days.

At Dalrymple Bay, the operator of German Creek and Foxleigh coal mines, Anglo American Coal, have declared a Force Majeure from 0001 hours on 20 September, which remains in force until further notice.

At Gladstone, Xstrata have declared a Force Majeure in relation to cargo from their Rolleston mine.
