COVID-19 - Portugal Containment

Our correspondent in Portugal Pinto Basto have provided the following update regarding the containment of the coronavirus in Portugal.

Please be guided that Portuguese Government has just issue a statement informing that all passenger vessels will not be authorized to disembark any guests/crewmembers/staff. Licenses to go ashore also will not be granted. 

Exception is made to Portuguese Citizens living in Portugal wishing to debark at our ports.  

Cruise vessels still may call Portuguese ports and to carry on provisions, fresh water and other supplies, as well as to perform bunkering operations.  

This containment measure will soon be in force and will be reevaluated on April 09th
