Members are referred to the Alert issued by the Association on 21/04/2017 relating to the Panama Canal Advisory A-15-2017: Modification to Fuel Requirements in Canal Waters.

The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has in Section 30 of their latest Panama Canal OP Notice to Shipping No. N-1-2018 dated 1 January, 2018 included information clarifying the area(s) of coverage, equipment affected and types of fuel acceptable for use by vessels not fitted with scrubbers, transiting the Panama Canal under the ACP's fuel regulations.
