2013 VGP & NTVRP Final Rule Update (#20-13)
The attached advisory gives additional information regarding the 2013 Vessel General Permit and the NTVRP Final Rule Resubmission. It includes explanation of implications of the imminent expiry date of 2008 VGPs on 19th December 2013.
Gap Analysis
The earlier 'Client Advisory' from Gallagher Marine Systems complements their advisory #16-13 from 30 September published on the Club website. It provides information they have gathered on the differences between the expiring 2008 Vessel General Permit (VGP) and the final version of the 2013 VGP which was released by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on 28th March 2013.
The advisory highlights the changes and updated requirements included in the 2013 VGP. It assumes the reader has an understanding of the existing requirements of the 2008 VGP. However, Gallagher Marine Systems offer further background information on the VGP system via their general email address -
