China - Supreme Court issues Guiding Opinions in Covid-19 civil trial cases
On 16.06.20, the Supreme Court of China issued its Guiding Opinions on “Several Issues Concerning the Proper Handling of Civil Cases Related to COVID-19 Epidemic in Accordance with the Law (III)”. These Guiding Opinions consist of nine parts. The UK Club’s correspondents, Oasis P&I Services Company Limited, have helpfully summarised those parts of the Guiding Opinions relevant to the maritime industry in their Oasis Circular No.: 2007 dated 17.06.20 attached herewith.
These Guiding Opinions will be of assistance to all Members trading to or from China, or who are currently involved in litigation proceedings in China.
