Dubai Seminar & Reception
On Thursday 27th October 2011 the UK P&I Club and UK Defence Club will be hosting a seminar and reception in Dubai. The seminar will be held at Mina A'Salam Hotel Madinat Jumeirah with a coctail reception and canapés following the seminar.
The seminar will focus on topical issues of interest to the Clubs' Members and the wider shipping community.

The UK P&I Club, one of the leading providers of P&I insurance and other services to the international shipping community, has appointed William Beveridge as its new Chief Underwriting Officer. He joins the UK Club on completion of his current employment obligations.
We have collated a range of industry best practice guidelines and relevant pages of organisations including the World Health Organization, International Labor Organization, and the International Maritime Organization.
At their meeting on 7th February 2022, the Directors reviewed the basis on which special war risks P&I cover could be made available to Members in accordance with the proviso to Rule 5E.
The Canadian government has issued Bulletin No. 09/2022 dated 11.04.2022 in which it sets out revised speed restriction measures to protect the North Atlantic right whales (NARW).
