Risk Management Seminars in China
In March 2013, The UK Club held a series of Risk Management seminars in China. Loss Prevention Director Karl Lumbers, Danny Ng, Helen Huang and James Zhang spent an intense week visiting over a dozen Members in Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The seminars gave strategic and practical guidance to ship-owners and operators in tackling the root cause of expensive claims. The seminars were well received by the Members and were attended by senior managers, commercial and technical management staff. Those attending the seminar gave positive feedback and welcomed the risk management project for the industry.
