It was due to one of the clinic's founders, Dr. Cabral Costa, that Ceniude started its experience within the maritime industry. Dr. Costa was one of the people at the forefront in implementing the occupational health department in the Portuguese Society of Tankers (Soponata), having been the department's Director for several years.
Although they specialize in medical testing for the maritime industry, it was through Occupational Health Medicine for national companies that the clinic set its course. They are proud to have been one of the first Occupational Health Medicine clinics to be certified by the Portuguese Health Ministry. Therefore they are subject to stringent criteria and clinical operational requirements, not only at the level of qualified personnel but also in terms of equipment and technical conditions.
