IMO Day of Seafarer Celebrations
The UK P&I Club PEME department are proud to be sponsoring the IMO Day of Seafarer Celebrations on 25th June 2016.
The event, held in Manila in the Philippines is aimed at seafarers and their families and hopes to highlight the significant role they play. This includes raising awareness of life at sea and supporting seafarers mental health and wellbeing, which the UK Club has also been addressing with its ‘Health Focus’ approach.
The theme of this year’s event ‘At Sea for all’ is celebrating with features including a health zone, display booths and music and cultural acts.
