Mumbai Seminar- Shell
P&I Executive and Loss Prevention Advisor Captain Anuj Velankar recently represented the UK P&I Club at a seminar organised by Shell. The seminar which was held at Mumbai, involved junior officers working on the Oil and gas vessels of Shell as well as shore staff from the London and Mumbai offices.
The involvement in the seminar allowed the Club to interact with the attendees on a one-on-one basis and in small groups and enabled effective discussions on the current risks faced by the industry. The Club has a wide range of useful Loss prevention material on Gas and Oil Tankers and the material was also distributed to the attendees.
The loss prevention material can be accessed in soft copy on the loss prevention section of the Club's website.
The Club was glad to be part of the seminar and looks forward to further such opportunities.
