Young Maritime Professionals Seminar
On Wednesday 16th March, Thomas Miller hosted the Young Maritime Professionals for a seminar discussing Maritime Trends across its mutuals. Representatives of UK P&I Club, UK Defence, TT Club and ITIC spoke at the event, with Lisa Clarke and Amanda Hastings presenting on behalf of P&I and Michael Greenwood on behalf of Defence. Lisa provided the P&I perspective on the Nairobi Wreck Convention, whilst Amanda discussed the topic of crew suicide and provided claims handling tips. Michael examined some of the issues arising out of the OW Bunkers insolvency. The event proved popular with almost 100 attendees from across the industry.
