Legal Update - China: Reminder of navigational areas around the Miaodao Archipelago for vessels entering or sailing from Bohai Bay
Navigation restrictions around the Miaodao Archipelago are published on ECDIS, and navigation warnings and notices are issued to mariners sailing in the region.
There has nevertheless been approximately 10 cases of breach of these navigation restrictions annually for the last three years. The Club’s correspondents in China, Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd, have issued the attached Circular no. PNI1905 to remind Members of the current navigation restrictions.
